[RESOLVED] Can someone help decipher a code snippet?

This is a function a previous programmer made for my website. I am trying to figure out all his code, but I just don't understand what this particular snippet might be trying to accomplish. I know it has something to do with page formatting, but I'm just having trouble deciphering it.

It equals 11. And it's Javascript.

You could ask them.

I believe it is for a mouse over. It takes the place of the alt tag and you can change the format.

Believe me, I wish I could! He disappeared and left me hanging with unfinished work.

And Oh you're right!! I just saw that it's javascript. My Bad. I thought it was php. I'm a little dizzy from trying to decipher pages and pages of script.

What did you mean it equals 11?

Try and remember you're talking to a complete newbie who's struggling and is in a little over his head right now!

Eric has it right. When you put your mouse over things it make a tooltip. It's pretty common code...if you Google'd it you'd find more info.
