[RESOLVED] Counting Rows ?

Hello people, first of all thanks for looking at this threat, I have a simple query yet I have never done it before so obviously I dont know how. I have googled but found nothing.

I would like to do a Count on the Second joint table where the id(not unique) is the same as the first table. Like so :

Table 1
1 | John
2 | Pete
3 | Chris

Table 2

1 | 1 | Some Text
2 | 1 | More Text
3 | 1 | More Text
4 | 3 | More Text
5 | 3 | More Text

When I call the query I would like to see :

John | 3 Records
Pete | 0 Records
Chris | 2 Records

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
