Hey everyone,

I am not and I repeat not trying to spam. I just thought I would mention that if you are into game programming (because I know some of you are) that you might want to check out this new forum.

I am the administrator there and am running the PHP gaming section. This will basically be focused on using PHP as a gaming tool. Both for the front end but also as a command line element for the server work. Which I am really pumped up about. We are just starting out so don't be discouraged if there isn't much content yet. We are developing our own game (in Java/PHP) and have a few members writing articles on how to develop. Also PHPBuilder Mods/Admins if you want to discuss how we might help one another (such as push your site and you push ours) then I will be more than happy to talk.

Okay. You're promoting a website with very little content.

May I suggest that you don't. Visitors will remember that your website had little content, you'd think that would be a reason for them to keep coming back but no they don't care. You'll be lucky to get a second chance. My suggestion is that you gather your web team together and with all friends. Get some topics together and even if you have spoken about the topics one million times offline post them online to crank up the post count so it looks more active.

No content, no visitors. Content = visitors = that lucky 1 in 1000th user who will provide more content and so on. I'd help out but I haven't got a clue when it comes to game programming with PHP - hence the visit to your site.
