Chained select menu

Let me prefix this by saying Im completely out of my element here but I am a quick learner so I could really use a little help.

A friend of mine and I are trying to put together a chained select menu that is databse driven. He has put together a javascript chained select menu that works perfectly except the fact that we have to add every single page manually. We have about 1500 pages of remote keys programming instructions that we need to be linked to the menu. Heres an example of what he's done so far.

Neither of us really know anything about php and that seems the only way to get the menus to populate from a databse. Can anyone point us in the right direction as to what we need to do this? If it means having to pay a little something then I be willing to look at that option as well.

I'd suggest to have a look at the bookmarked threads in this forum, and the sticky threads in the other forums, which will help youforward a bit, and tell you what you'd need. Most stuff is freeware, so there should not be any cost involved, except for hosting. Once you have the basic ideas, give it a shot, and ask here how to progress. I have added a few tutorials on www.bio-vision.nl/coding which are reasonably documentented, which could get you going.
