showing path to pic

Using the following code I am trying to read from a table the path to an image stored on the server. All of theother fields work fine aprt from this one where I am tyying to read the value into a file type input. I need to use a file object so I can choose another path for the image related to the record.

Can this be done?

Can you post more of you PHP code of how you are getting your $myrow variable and you SQL query

i think, that input type="file" doesnt take any VALUE="" from that
files are uploaded on the client-side, maybe you can show the path to the image with simple echo

Okay, wait a second. You're using a path on the server as the value for a file upload? How can the client upload a file that he doesn't have on his computer??

Also, kakki is correct; due to security risks, INPUT elements of type FILE do not allow any values (if one is given, it is simply ignored).
