Each row must have a UNIQUE value for the primary key.

if i were to join three tables together, and i selected, how do i select the item i want in one of the table?
i tried tablename.columnname but cannot work. can somebody tell mi how? Thanks in advance

Hi Rodney I managed to solved my problem about joining of 3 tables thanks.
But here comes another one, i just started using php about a month ago only, so excuse me for asking stupid questions.
My page would display a list of data with checkbox beside each sentence, and on top of the datas is a textbox which allow user to insert new data. i was thinking of putting the delete button below the data. i know 'submit' button needs a form, so do i put my php codes of data together with the delete form?which means to say, this page would have 2 forms, namely the adding and deleting. Or all join together with the adding form? pls enlighten me.. 🙂
