It appears that the board has been "archived"; this was probably done to simply increase the speed of the database server, but there are other potential reasons (one that comes immediately to mind is the fact that some Search Engines don't deal with QUERY_STRING too well, and the "archiver" creates easily searchable static HTML pages; that brings up another thought, it's much easier on the webserver hardware to server static HTML in response to a million Google users 😉 ). It happens on boards all the time.
Running a board search will actually get you to "see" the older threads. Also, click on the "Archive" link at the bottom of the page. It's all still there.
And, some of them were pretty good, way back then, IMHO ....
