Would it be a good idea to have a thread for such as this? What is something old, or new, that you find yourself using daily and you couldn't live without now that you've found it?

But I'd insert the same photo here. I feel naked without it - but that's no doubt due to the high correlation between those two states. I've got one of the originals, plus a mini for backup (strapped to my ankle - now there's a thought).

Well, the useful thing I found on it (actually 2 things) were "ntpasswd" and the "force" option to ntfsmount. 😉 😉

The Leatherman multitools do look useful. Which one(s) do you have, dalecosp and Weedpacket?

I can't find a model number or indication on mine, but after looking at the site, I believe it's the retired "PST"....

Probably the phillips head and the pliers I use most; case screws, etc., and the pliers are great for mobo jumpers. I need to look into their 25-year warranty, though; I've a broken screwdriver blade that snapped trying to take some car engine piece off (kinda a Doh! moment ... IIRC, it was a locked screw.)

Looks pretty cool. Squeezing the pliers is a tad uncomfortable on the old PST if you're trying to apply a lot of pressure, so that part of the design is probably a great improvement.
