Downloading/Uploading Files To/From Remote FTP Servers

I have access to two FTP accounts. One has some files on it that I want to move to the other FTP account. I want to set this up to run as a cron job every day.

I'm able to login using the ftp_login function but I don't know how to actually have the script move the file from one server to the other without having to download the file to my desktop before I can upload it.

Any ideas?

While I haven't used this, I simply found it in a Google search...

This site has some PHP script about site-to-site transfers. For more information, google keywords such as FTP site-to-site, etc.

Good find, but this seems to upload files from my ftp account to a remote ftp account. I need the opposite - to transfer a file from the remote ftp to my own.

Searching for keywords on google hasn't produced many good leads.

Isn't it the same process either way? You'd login to your remote FTP and so a site-to-site transfer from remote FTP to your own FTP.

Well I dont know if you've had a chance to look at the code but the script assumes there is only one username and password, 1 connection, and that the files are being moved from the local server to a remote server. It seems to me that it would require major modifications to get it to work oppositely, where it grabs the files off of a remote server and then downloads them to the local server.

There has to be a script out there that does this though, I cant believe I havent had more replies or found other scripts yet.
