Probably 95% of the time everything works fine. But that little 5% is causing all the trouble...
Basically, about 5% of the time when viewing a PHP file I get a completely blank screen, followed by a popup asking me to download "file.php" where file.php is whatever file I'm accessing. If I agree to download, the file is blank (thank goodness, instead of having the source code) but it's still incredibly annoying.
The weird part is, it's only doing it on one site on my server. I assume that its either something that I have in my core file included in all scripts on that site, or something in Apache config for that site only.
Since someone will ask, here are all my details:
Fedora Core 3
PHP 5.1.2
MySQL 4.1.15
Apache 2.0.53
Does anyone know of any setting or anything else that could cause this to happen? I'd greatly appreciate any help, I've been pulling my hair out.
Thanks!
EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention one thing. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to the white screens. I get them on random pages, and all it takes is a refresh (or sometimes a couple) to get it working again. If there's anything at all, it would seem that it occurs more often to the heavier and slower-loading pages, but that could just be me.
