Can someone suggest good freeware intranet software (should be PHP based)? I found couple of nice ones, but maybe there's some extremely good software available which I'm not aware of at all?

    I'm just curious (because I have a new intranet project coming up), what do you need it to do for you?

      Actually I would need the rather basic things, like Calendar, To-Do list, notes and maybe also a contact list. I'm using the one in Outlook, but it's not the best for me, because I would like to see the data wherever I'm located.

        What have you found? I'm trying to remember about HORDE at the moment. Sugar CRM?

        Or, if you're needing a project, you can always roll your own. That's what I did.

          We've been using dotproject , which isn't perfect by any means, but it's not the worst either. I had written our own but never had time to make it secure or add some functionality that we needed... I think we may be going back to that, though.
