I know this is out there but I cant seem to find it. I'm looking for a set of codes or a mod that, on the forums block on the php index page, will show the number of posts, views ant the latest poster on each topic. Thanks!

Way out there! You might want to at least let us know what forum software your using.
I'm using PHP-Nuke 7.8, and the forum module it comes with. Here is an example of it: www.theserverspot.com.
there are 1.000s of MOD for PHP-Nuke
goto php-nuke homepage
look for 'mod' 'addon' or like that in Links menu
It might be a special 'nuke-mods' website
only for addons, mods and templates for nuke
