PHP XML Post example

Hello,

I need to post XML via https:// Having only read some basic XML tutorials, i was wondering if some can direct me to a quick/dirty tutorial on how to post XML to another server.

I can generate the XML file on the fly and have the structure. I guess i am just wondering how it actually does the posting and when.
