Mail Merge Microsoft Word PHP

I have a database with patients name and address and i would like to send them letters.
I would like to, from the click of a button, use php to retrieve the names and addresses, open microsoft word template, use mail merge and print out the letters.

And after all that is done, send them a pizza and a coup of cola too...
And all this done from linux, to all the macintosh users ...

sounds easy , and u may not need that many PHP , just echo all the values u need on a simple table, copy it to excel and use it as DB for word template

Yea Guys please remember, I need this to be done all by the computer. Manually I have many ways of doing it, however this has to be automated. I saw something about using Com support with php but I am not familiar with that.
