Was solo in Arizona. Moved to Missouri and now I'm very solo.

IIRC, Mordecai's not far away either, though I think he's moved since he joined here. LordS has ties near here, but he doesn't say if he's in SW MO.

I suppose, if nothing else, we could maybe start a PHPOzarkia. I doubt we could get you, Chris, or Ben to come, but maybe we could camp out by my pond and tattoo "PHP Rox" on our rumps with a cattle brand after a wild night of quaffing $beverages and complaining about women or the lack thereof....

Well I was talking about web development. Dale's great and all, just not my type :p

So the move story goes like this: I've been in Arizona for about 20 years. My father moved to Springfield, Mo around 5 years ago. My brother moved to Springfield about 2 years ago. Everytime I came to visit, I really liked it out here. More my pace. Anyone who's been to Phoenix knows it's growing to be the next LA or New York, and I'm just not a big city type of person. But I had a great job out there, with a lot of creative freedom, so it kept me there. Finally got to the point that I said screw it, I'm moving. Approached my boss under the assumption that I was quitting, but they instead asked me to continue developing for them after I moved. So all worked out well. I've kept my job, and I own (my first) a house in Springfield now, working from home.

That was a mouthful. Sorry :o

Well, she does the html and I do the PHP.

Although I'm still better at the html, she's kickass at photoshop.

BUT she lives 3500 miles away.

So... yeh, vote neither.

Oh, and when you say "LordS" it reminds me of a guy on the internet who called himself "Lord Sevarius" and appeared really cool, until we saw a picture of him, and he was a fat guy with blonde spiky hair, wearing a superman t-shirt. Man, that was funny.

It was awesome there! Watched at tripple overtime game NY Knicks vs Phoenix Suns that was the best! I was heckling Nash everytime he was making a freethrow, he actually looked at me with a mock frown after he made one. lol that was pretty funny. Anyway...
