[RESOLVED] Adding Rows on a Form

Not sure if this title makes sense, but here's the basic idea of what I'm trying to do. I have a form that generates itself based on the number of discs that are in a concert. So I have a concert record with 2 discs, and then the subsequent form shows 2 rows - 1 for disc 1 and 1 for disc 2. What I'd like to do on the second form is have buttons to add, or subtract the disc rows.

It seems like the same idea as what many forms would do, but I can't seem to find an example to go off of, and I'm lost at where to start.

Do I just need to make these + and - buttons reload the page with an extra row, or is there a more straightforward/ standard way for this? Thanks!

Do you meen you want to add / subtract rows from the database or just the form? If the later, its probably best done with javascript, otherwise, yes.... just reload the page with an extra (or lesser) row.

I'd say that would be a pretty straight forward way of doing it. If you wanted to add a row without refreshing the page then you'd have to look into a client side scripting language like javascript.

Ah, I think I see what both of you are saying. Based on the way this page loads to the next (it references the original number of discs in the database), I need to actually update the db prior to loading the page, instead of just increasing the form by one record.

Got it working how I expected it to now. Added a button that commits the form to my script page, adds a row to the record, and reloads the form, with the new record.
