Want to make a CMS

I want to learn PHP and SQL to make a CMS and then make an arcade script. I would like to know were i should start to learn the basics and then any other resources that would help me with a CMS.

Well, honestly the answer is simple. Get yourself a good book for beginners on PHP and MYSQL. There's many good ones out there. Additionally, check out tutorials and beginners php lessons on the web.

PHP for the World Wide Web Second Edition by Larry Ullman is a good book. He has a whole collection of books worth checking out 🙂

Would learning plain php then plain my sql do the job if i want to make a CMS
