[RESOLVED] imagettftext bad kerning

Hello,

I have a problem with imagettftext. When I write something to an image with imagettftext, the kerning of the text is very bad. It has too large spaces between characters. I am using MetaNomalCE as the font. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can u add MetaNomalCE.ttf font so I can see it ...

And what is wrong with it?

001.jpg is generated using php and 002.jpg is generated using photoshop

Yeah but when I use smaler font - 10pt then the difference can be seen. See the attachments.

I'm sorry, I'm not a designer, for me the difference are almost zero, anyway in photoshop you can smooth font and play with them.
I think it looks grate, u don't need to stop your work for some minor difference ...

Thanks for your assistance bogu, maybe I will make it by oversampling the image as php manual discussion says, but it is unefficient for the CPU, so before going ahead and doing that I wanted to ask for a more elegant solution.
