CAUTION: I need your help!

Hello!

I have a serious problem with my Portal. Well I try to open the index.php on the web but I can't. Why? I get an error:

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'db' in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/usr/private/login/db_connect.php on line 17

and the db_connect.php on line 17:

$db_object = DB::connect($datasource, TRUE);

If I don't fix this error my Portal will not display okay. Is anyone know why is this happens?

What portal are you using?
Your own script or downloaded?

That error means, you have not included the db_class defintion.
Usually is a page /includes/db_class.php
but can also be a PEAR DB Class.

As with a function, you cant call a function: myfunction()
unless you have told what the function is like
somewhere else in your script.
Many applications have line.
include 'includes/functions.php';

You are missing a class. You should have an include somewhere that includes the class itself, it is possible that you are calling it with a typo or incorrect path.

Well the Portal I made it alone. But this is a login script I found on the web! It was like this:

But I got an include error: DB.PHP not exists!

I don't have a DB.php file! I have a db_connect.php.
Do you think I must change the DB.php to usr/private/login/db_connect.php ?

That script is almost entirely dependant on the class db and without it it will not work, not knowing the structure of the class (anyone can write one and call it anything that they want), so you need to try and remember where you found that script and at least see if the DB.php is not on another page on that site or can be downloaded as a file for you to use. Other wise the script will only give you errors till the include or in this case the require is satisfied.

Well I thought there is a file in the Apache directory called DB.php. When I use this login script offline in my Apache (on my computer) I never got an error like this!

In the page I found this script there is no one file called DB.php.

I only copy and paste the code.. 🙁

Can you help me?...

there you will see include_path
usually is a path to include PEAR folder

that DB.php is the pear database class, it is a part of some PHP distributions
and is usually included in the root of PEAR folder

if you want to include this class it is found here:
http://pear.php.net/package/DB
But DB needs pear class to run:
