PHP on HP-UX Problem!!

Hi Folks,

I have been using PHP4 on windows with apache and MySql for ever basically, but have a need to move to hp-ux. I installed everything , PHP4, MySql5, Apache 1.3.26. Everything is running. But for some reason the values from a htm form are not carrying over to my .php scripts. Example a html from calling a php script to enter from values into the database. But if i hard code the values into the php insert script and call it it works fine.

I have looked at httpd.conf and php.ini but dont see anything unusual.

Any help as i am cracking up trying this out.

HP-UX?

Well, it could be a lot of things like:
a firewall,
a proxyserver,
bad rewriting using mod_rewrite, etc.

I need a little bit more information.

What are the apache log files saying, there should be some traces of POST. If you are running a firewall like iptables, what does its log say. If you are using mod_rewrite, turn on the logging feature.

The Apache log file tells me nothing,

This looks like the error_log.

What does the access_log say when you try to post something.

The best way to see what happens is to do a 'tail -f' on the access_log

PS:

It should look something like this:

10.0.0.38 - - [12/Jul/2006:14:38:56 +0200] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 302 -
10.0.0.38 - - [12/Jul/2006:14:39:06 +0200] "POST /filetopostto.php HTTP/1.1" 200 1821

Got it sorted, i had register_globals switched off.

I am slow i know.
