code does not work when I upload into the webhost

hello I have this warning code:

Warning: unlink(hitgetting.log): Permission denied in /home/iloiloct/public_html/hitcountr/getting/hit.php on line 15

it started when I upload this script into my webhost. I tried setting the permission to read write and execute the hitgetting.log but it still displays this kind of warning in my code. I tried running it in my local testing site and it worked fine. The problem is only on the webhost that I uploaded the site. Can anyone help me please? Thank you very much in advance.

unlink() = DELETE file

you should check the file permission of
this folder: /getting/
and this file: hit.php

CHMOD should be 777 ( or 666 )
which will give Write/Delete permission to your scripts

Use your FTP Upload Client program
right click folder/file and Change permissions

Have you used the full server path in your unlink command when copied to the main server? Something like unlink("/home/iloiloct/public_html/hitcountr/hitgetting.log") is what you need.
