PHP automatic archive.

I have a website, and the homepaeg changes every day. Is there a way to:

1) Have links to archived pages that are automatically added (i.e., if today is the 14th, you would see "July 1|2|3|4|....13|" and then the next day 14| would be added.
2) Automatically have my page renamed and sent to a subdirectory.

I've tried googling for php archives, but I keep getting the internet archive or php script archives.

You might be better off searching for "output buffering" and "caching"

[man]ob_start[/man] and [man]ob_get_clean[/man] will be useful

thats all fine and dandy, but i have no idea how to set it up to do what I want
