Mysql problem!

I want to insert data into database through phpmyadmin,using insert file,but the max allowed file size is 2M,I want to insert a file(5M),How to modify the file "my.ini",or I must modify other ini file,my mysql version is 5.0.anyone helps me!Thanks very much!

The ugly/simple/obvious solution is to just split your SQL file into 3 seperate files and then upload each seperately. You would of course have to split them at the right places i.e. not in the middle of an insert or create block.

ok,thanks for answer,but there are too many sql files,If I split each file,It will waste much time,so I think there may be a good method to solve this problem!^_

The other obvious answer is: Don't use phpmyadmin.

Use the mysql command line client, which has no such limitation.

Try pasting content of .sql file in SQL tab instead of uploading it.

You can always make php script that woud read all files you upload on a server and do the job for you.

Some web hosting companies will restore a database for you if you email them the SQL file or FTP the file to them.

Check with your web host.
