I am looking for help relating to ajax.

1) a simple table that is set up autoload from a specified php page / html page.

just curious is there any chance that someone could possibly provide me with a full demo with all the script etc..

if someone on here is really good with ajax / javascript please let me know. what I really need is ability to resize any number of boxes on a page, and have each one load a different item into it. not all need to be a refresh type situation.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an Idea for a php script, however haven't played with AJAX.

Also with AJAX can I move the text blocks around and "close / open" different tables? I know this is a DHTML thing, but just curious if this can be done via ajax as well.

Not likely to happen... sounds like a far bit of code. Do you know javascript at all? If not your going to be pretty stuck, maybe look into using an ajax framework of some sort. script.aculo.us is meant to be pretty good.

This question is somewhat confused. Ajax isn't a specific technoligy, its more a method of mixing technoligies. So yes this is possoble, because parts of the ajax method are DHTML.
