Failed to connect to mailserver?

hi, every one!! may i know what the error.. i try the sending email.. but
it display these error:
Warning: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\fp2.php on line 46
Cannot send password to your e-mail address

You're on win platform - do you have a sendmail program installed and configured?

Enable your SMTP and sendmail_from by editing your pnp.ini to something like this.

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = mail.yourisp.com//put your ISP stuff here
smtp_port = 25

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = [e-mail]

Make the SMTP the same as you use on Out Look Express or Outlook, then under sendmail_from just enter your email address.

hi, sosingus.. Thank you your anwer!! i dont hv sendmail program installed. may i know what sendmail program should install? Thank you!
