Setting Time Specific Script To GMT+1

Hi,

Would anyone know what function I would need to use to have the following script take it's time from GMT+1 - basically British Summer Time:
The code is as follows

$time = getdate(); 
$hod = $time['hours']; 
echo $hod; 
if($hod>6 &&  $hod<10){ 
    echo "Breakfast show presenters image"; 
}elseif($hod>8 && $hod<13){ 
    echo "Mid Morning image";

    echo "Lunchtime Show image"; 
}if($hod>13 && $hod<19){ 
    echo "Afternoon Show image"; 
}if($hod>17 && $hod<21){

Try this:

$time = strtotime('+1 hour', time()); 
$hod = gmdate('G', $time); 
echo $hod; 
// etc.

Don't do that, because it won't work when we're in GMT.

Instead, set the default timezone to Europe/London (or whatever) then get the local date/time - see the timezones section in the manual.

That way it should work summer or winter, indefinitely.

The radio station is only on air during the summer, by the time the winter comes around it'll have a coming back next year box in it's place! But good point for our winter radio stations! Thanks Mark!
