Sorting HELP

Hi Guys

I hope someone can help me. Im using a PHP component on my site which I have adjusted to suit my requirements. I am having problems sorting the data by ID. I want it so that each new entry is placed underneath the previous entry.

Here is some coding from the results info:

Can anyone please help me and let me know where I should place the sorting code?

um, on i mine i put it below the select fields from database query...

I have also used the 'order by' function, this may not be what you want, so soz if it is, i think it will do the same job.

so mine looked like this, urs may look different

SELECT 'table field' 
FROM 'your table' 
ORDER BY 'id' ASC

the

ORDER BY

function can be changed to either

ASC

(ascending (going up)) or

DESC

(descending(going down)) hope this helps.

It's an SQL statement.... So the "ORDER BY" clause would be added to your query to order your results accordingly.

Yea basically you no where you where you specify what you take out of the database table and what table etc it would go after the bit where u specify what table ur results should come from. Do u understand tht??
