jump to menues in PHP header

hello all, I'm new here.

I had a question and was hoping some of you might have an answer....

I have a php header and php footer that are being called into my content pages. In the php header, I have a jump to menu system. The jump to menu works great in Firefox, however, the jump menu does nothing in IE.

Have any of you experienced problems with jump to menues in php headers and whatnot?

This has nothing to do with php. That is javascript.

I know that the jump to menus are javascript, but I didn't know if it being inside of a php header had anything to do with it not functioning, I didn't know if there was some code that I needed in the php to aid the menu.

I'm just asking to check all possibilities. it's being housed in php that is being drawn into another php document, so I figured I'd give it a try by asking here.

By the time php pages are served up to the client they are just html / javascript / css. php runs on the server (Javascript on the other hand runs on the client) and cannot effect what happens on the client.
