Script to login to another site and post info

I would like to write a script that logs into another site and posts info to a form.

Any tips on getting started?

The site I'm going to login to is:
https://www.myhighway.com/login.aspx

The login is actually a 2 step process

1. The first page determines what type of user I am

2. The second page collects my user name and password

My assumption is that I should use Curl to go about this?
