Frames

I have a page split in two and I want to be able to transfer certain portions of text from the right page to the left page. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Can you elaborate a bit more please? I would advise you against using frames though if you can... No sites really use them nowadays... I can't see much value in them myself.

Thanks for getting back to me. It's for a business administration site not for the general public to use, so it probably will be the best idea to use frames. The page is split into two. The administrator needs to be able to select boxes on the right page and click submit, when submit is clicked the selected text needs to be shown on the left page. I would be grateful of any help,

Frames are a pain in the buttock to use. Having it for a business administration site just means there's even less reason to resort to them.

You'll get a lot more control and a lot fewer headaches if you use modern technologies, like Javascript, DOM, and (so-called) Ajax.

You can "replicate" a framed layout using the <div> tag and CSS.
