I already installed gd and its dependencies the only thing I'm having a problem with jpg-6b.

I am gonna pull my hair out and scream. if i install php without gd it installs fine with the same configure script above. I am new to linux configurations and am learning as i go along. I would really appreciate a step by step guide to fix this problem because it is very frustrating.
