Popup and main page refresh

Hi guys,

I was wondering if this is possible.

I have a website i am on working, You'll be able to upload images.
Theres a page for example named 'my images' which shows the images you have uploaded aswel as options for deleting them etc.
To upload an image you click a link that opens a popup window.

The image is copied onto the server to the specific users folder and the path to the image is stored in a database.

What i would like is once you upload a image the 'my images' page will refresh and show the added image.

Is that possible and if it is how could i do it.

its possible
After processing the uploaded image use a
header("Location: foofolder/myimages.php");// change path to match you stuff and file
that will send the user to that page, do that after all your processing is done and do not output anything to the browser before you call "header" or you will get an error.

Edit: After reading it again I think you might mean you want to refresh the already loaded popup window? That is possible also with some javascript, don't know it offhand although.

Actually, I believe he wants to use a pop up to send a trigger message to refresh an already open page.

I'm pretty sure PHP and JS can't do this.

Javascript can reload a "parent" page from the "popped up" page. I have done it before. As long as the page your refreshing is the page that "created" the popup.

Something like
window.opener.location.reload();

I think there are multiple ways to do it with javascript.
