League table woes!

Hey,

Was hoping someone could help.
I've written a Football league table system for a customer to keep track of his football club but i'm stuck on one final piece.
The league table itself :o
What i mean is the order.

My table has the usual stats and of course i can output it via points but my problem is if two teams have the same points then i need to look at the Goal Difference and then depending on who has the highest place them before the other teams with the same points.

Any questions fire away.
Any ideas to kick start my monday morning brain would be much appreciatted.

Assuming that your using a database such as MySQL, and that you have the goal difference stored in it as well as the points, then I would tend towards using the ORDER BY option to order by Points then Goal Difference
