regular expression (in .htaccess file)

RewriteRule ^(.+).html$ index.php?p=$1 means, that all people, who comes to page with end of ".html" will be redirected. How to do "ELSE" function? I want, that all people who go to site.com/anything will be redirectect to index.php?$1.

I think you have to do a NOT regexp... but I'm not very good with the .htaccess syntax. I think you want to say:

RULE
do this
^ RULE
do this
