rotating sig with matching ava help

hey im trying to get a script to work that has a rotating sig and then the ava to match it but i could only get the sig to rotate dunno how i shud aproche getting the avatar to match any ideas?

still trying to solve this. :/ lol i googled "rotating sig ava" and on first page first result was this lol..

Well if you read the script, you would realize the script reads a directory for images. No images, no result.

$handle = opendir("./");

is what directory your script reads for the images. I suggest storing them in a seperate directory.

That's probably because you're the only person who writes "ava" when they mean "avatar". Try English for a while; you might have more success.

Sounds like you'd need to:

Check if a cookie has been set (has the script already randomly generated the av or sig?)
-- No: Randomly generate the number for the av or sig (perhaps use script.php?id=av or script.php?id=sig so the script knows which one its doing), display that image, and store that number you picked in a cookie.
-- Yes: The script has already determined a number before, so you should load the appropriate av/sig (again, using an ?id=av method would be easy) with that number. When you're done, destroy the cookie (so that the next time the script is called, the number will be regenerated)

That's my thoughts... except I don't know if they're feasible. What if a browser loads the two images simultaneously? I don't know a good way to correlate the two separate calls to the script so that they can "talk" to each other.

Any one else have ideas?

I type whatever is appropriate. If I'm trying to explain a problem, and I want to make sure that people understand it (including people who are not as fluent in English as I am) then I'm careful about what I write. It also a matter of being polite: if I don't care about the person reading my post, why should they care about my problem?
