I've done some poking of PHP/MySQL for quite a while and the principles of it all aren't new to me. However I've recently been given the first chance I've had to build from scratch. Are there any sites that have basic tips, tricks, things to look out for, etc? I don't mean straight tutorials, nor do I mean the very basic info (i.e. what a variable is), more along the lines of "try not to use this function because it could be a security risk".
I know that doesn't make much sense but it's the best I can describe what I'm looking for at the moment.
