Subtotal Update in Real Time

Hi all,

I'm doing some ordering pages for a site and would like to make it like Apple's online store where the subtotal gets updated in realtime:

Is there any way I can do this with PHP?

The link you sent shows as expired. I would assume you are talking about a page where you can add elements and a subtotal is calculated, is that the case? Can you explain a bit please? IT will certainly be achievable in PHP if this is the case....

Yes, I am looking to achieve the same thing.

I would like the user to be able to choose various options using radio buttons - in my case the size of a print and a frame style - and have a subtotal update as they make their selections.

I assume the code to get this to work will have to exceuted on the client side?

Could you tell me a little more about it please? 🙂

You've got it right. What you want can be done using client side code such as javascript, no need to get the server involved (so no real need initially for PHP). I suggest you read about javascript to find an answer...
