submitting form only once

I realize this is more of a javascript question but here goes.

I want to disable a button that uploads a file in my form but when I do that with an onclick the submit fails.

Yeah if I disable the button the file dosen't upload

But why do u want to disable it, if the user upload a wrong photo and he want to change it?

U should upload his photo, if he try to upload another one u delete the one before and upload the new one ...

Why? Because it keeps them from clicking the button again, since it takes a few moments for the upload to happen.

disabling the button after a click stops the user from getting impatient and clicking it again.

this is good usually to stop multiple INSERT querys to be executed.. like a system that sends personal messages might disable their button after pressing it so that the message isnt sent twice..

it probably wont make a difference with your script however because regardless of if the image is uploaded all the way when the button is pressed again, it will just write over the original image and it shouldnt cause any problems.
