Making a XML script from my SQL DB

I've got a SQL DB, with feilds ID | Header | Body, when a user click on a page makexml.php is brings everything from this DB and makes it a XML file called, news.xml

Every time makexml.php is visited it would have to delete everything and remake it.

Can someone help me with this??

I'll run the delete part before I start adding new stuff.

U don't have to delete anything, if u take the fwrite example from php manual change how u open the file, it shouldn't be for appending, u should open it for writing ...

Yeah But I want my XML script to be current data from my MySQL.
The only way to do this is to rewrite everything in the XML file. So it would not be a huge task to remove everything in this page and rewrite it all... is there another way???

So just so it's clear some of the already print records will have changed...

How can I do this
