Which is more performant?

I was wondering which was more performant. Reserving PHP for dynamic content and use html for everything else, or just echoing the whole page through php html and all?

html is more efficient than parsing it through php.
This is more noticable on some hosts with larger serverloads.

Also a couple more things to consider. HTML outputted by php can be through echo and print is generally harder to read and follow. Also if you work with a graphics artist, they will have an insanely hard time with code like that. It's always best practice to seperate your php and html as much as you can.
