Multiple query help

hi everyone my proplem is as follows.

I have two seperate tables in my database they are as follows

table - field

airports - ICAO
timetable - departure

I would like to show all the details from the time table database where the ICAO is not listed in the airports table

so here is a quick example to help you see what im trying to understand or get from the query.

airport table has------------------time table has the following

EGNT--------------------------------EGNT
EGLL--------------------------------EGPF
EGPF

The result i would be looking for is EGLL as this one is listed in the timetable but not in the airports table.

I hope this makes sence to you I do think I am looking at joins but Im really not sure how to write the query and have this echo out the results from this based on a multiple query.

ANy Help would be great thanks for taking the time to read my question.

From Mysql manual:

If there is no matching record for the right table in the ON or USING part in a LEFT JOIN, a row with all columns set to NULL is used for the right table. You can use this fact to find records in a table that have no counterpart in another table:
mysql> select table1.* from table1
LEFT JOIN table2 ON table1.id=table2.id
where table2.id is NULL;

This example finds all rows in table1 with an id value that is not present in table2 (i.e., all rows in table1 with no corresponding row in table2). This assumes that table2.id is declared NOT NULL, of course.
