[RESOLVED] Error "mysql_close(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource "

hi all,

suddenly i started getting this error in my php page

Warning: mysql_close(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/content/y/v/o/html/recomm.php on line 140

The data is being retreived and dispalyed correctly but the error is showing at the end of the data.

Well, you'd have to show us this line. Generally, though, using [man]mysql_close/man isn't needed - the connection is automatically closed when the script has finished executing.

yes mine is the same format

bradgrafelman, if i take off the line altogether then the error doesn't show BUT am not sure if i should take it out.

mysql_close() is not needed. Php has its own built in garbage collection which will close connections for you.
