With all due respect, the question was posted in the Newbie section by a newbie (as evidenced by his post count). I can appreciate what you are saying, but your post didn't answer his question at all. His question was a heck of a lot better than most you find, where the newbie asks someone to code things for them. Stoney was just looking for a resource for a free script. Not an unreasonable request, by any stretch of the imagination.
Stoney is a Java Programmer, not a PHP programmer; and sure we didn't know that from the original post; but what incentive is there for him to learn PHP, and join in our community if you post responses that don't answer the question and appear to be blunt, zealous and thoughtless? (whether it was intentional or not) If your response had appeared to be helpful, I would never have even interjected.
All I am saying is try to put a little thought into your responses, in keeping with the spirit of the forums. It wouldn't have come across as rudely had you written something like this instead...
"Sure, there are free scripts out there. Is there any particular reason why you don't just build it yourself, so you can make it more flexible?"
See the difference?
