MkDir() issues

Hey guys. I am trying to use MkDir to automatically create a directory like so

mkdir("/home/httpd/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/crm_admin/progressimages/$accountID/");

The page this script is on is in the httpsdocs folder, but the place I need to create the directory is in the httpdocs folder in the path given above.

I have set the permissions on all folders to 777, but I still get this error

Warning: mkdir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/httpd/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/crm_admin/progressimages/1155330291/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/website.com/httpsdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/website.com/httpsdocs/join4.php on line 185

Any idea why this is happening?

This means that you need to add the /home/httpd/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs to the open_basdir configuration variable in php.ini (or the vhost configuration) because the current setting prohibits writing to the httpdocs directory.
