Embeded flow chart?

Hi all,

I'd like to view a flow chart in a web page. If server side scripting is needed, I could use PHP (preferably) or PERL. What I have right now is a Visio (2003) file, basically it's a geneology tree. Pretty simple, and only needs to be viewable...potentially downloadable (i.e. save a copy).

How could I view/embed a Visio diagram in a browser?

Export the visio file as SVG??

Firefox and opera supports svg natively but IE requires a plugin

Of course you could just Save As HTML Page in Visio. This would eliminate the need for a plugin in IE.

i guess i was trying to make this more difficult than need be, wouldn't be the first time :rolleyes:

i just saved it as a .png and displayed the image.

i am a bit curious about this SVG solution though. would something like that be 'clickable' or interactive? in other words, if someone clicked on a box in the chart/SVG (assuming that can be done), i could then send them to another chart (or SVG in this case). can SVG's accomodate things like clicks? or mouseovers?
