[RESOLVED] Dealing with numbers

Hey guys!

I have a number field where users can enter a dollar amount, the filed is varchar so they can enter commas and decimal points, however, when I pul the data out I need to get rid of the commas... I ma not sure how to use preg replace to do that.

Can I get an example please?

I had to get rid of the array and the ".", but thaks a lot !
