Fax Server and PHP

Hi everyone
I am looking for a solution, in order to implement a fax server which works with PHP. I have heard that for communicating with Fax servers, user must sends an email to it, and then it faxes it.
Does anyone know any program which can help me?

I developed solution based on hylafax server in which fax is generated as PDF and send by system call (exec) to hylafax server. You've got to have faxmodem and hylafax installed under UNIX.
