Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting my site to work and I believe it's a PHP/IIS problem.
First off, here's my setup:
Win2k3 server
IIS 6
PHP 5.12
MySQL 5
IIS Info
Website: Moodle (in addition to the Default Website)
Home Directory: c:\inetput\wwwroot\moodle
Http Header: moodle.mydomain.com
Documents: index.php, index.htm
Web Extensions set to allow PHP
Iusr_server account has Full Control (while I figure this out) of PHP and Moodle folders.
Here's my problem:
When I go to moodle.mydomain.com/index.php, I get a 'Page Cannot Be Found' error
When I go to moodle.mydomain.com/index.htm, everythings works just fine.
Now, if I make the following change to my Moodle website in IIS:
Home Directory: c:\inetpub\wwwroot (instead of c:\inetpub\wwwroot\moodle)
When I go to moodle.mydomain.com/moodle/index.php, everything works just like it should.
For some reason it won't run my php files out of the root directory of my website. I've tried renaming index.php to something else, as that was mentioned in a thread with a simlilar problem, but it still doesn't work. I've deleted the site in IIS and recreated it. Didn't help. I've looked all over the net, but I can't find a solution.
Doesn't anybody have any idea PHP why won't run out of the root directory of my site, but runs just fine in a subdirectory?
Thanks,
Anthony
