GD Security Image Black Boxes

If you go here:

You should see an image with the text in it, it may happen, if it does, keep refreshing and eventually you will get just black boxes instead of text. Does anyone know why this is doing this? I use the imagettfbbox() and imagettftext() functions with the courbd.tff font (Courier Bold). Also, if I save the image with the correct text, it makes black boxes.

You might get a clue by testing the replacement of the tff fonts with a test value of files using gif, jpeg, or png.

NEVERMIND I was rotating the image and that caused it
