problem with a file included twice when I want it to be included once

I have a problem with a file that apparently is being included twice when I want it to be included once.
I searched all my files and couldn’t find a place in which I am not calling it with include_once("file_name")
Is there a way to print or output in any way which file calls this file?
It could be an included file that calls this file, so I need to know the file name, not the page name that calls this file.

there should never be an instance where the file is included more than once. to use include_once is really lazy. instead try mapping out your application in an XML editor or notepad by using tabs

No offense, but I dont think using include_once is either lazy or the problem here.

Perhaps the include is being executed multiple times.

so lets just get this straight if files were only included once, php would only be able to include the files once because it can only execute instructions IT IS GIVEN BY THE PROGRAMMER! Then we would not have this thread. Please Instill me with your devine logic as to why this is not the problem; and why my idea is not the best all round solution to the problem.
